Advanced testing
Electromyography (EMG studies) and nerve conduction velocity tests (NCV studies)
help to determine the nature and cause of your problem. We first start with a complete health history, a physical examination
and discussion of your symptoms. Dr. Miller then performs EMG and NCV tests. EMG tests the electrical activity
of the muscles, while NCV evaluates for damage, disease and impingement of nerves by measuring the speed and strength of the
electrical signal.
